Original - Porsgrunn

An impression from the edge of the pier at Reynoldsparken, where the Strandpromenaden north follows the water and the city opens up to the river. In the iron lies Porsgrunn's story gathered in three characters: the pors branch which is a "speaking" coat of arms motif and connects the name to the landscape, the anchor which carries the memory of port, sailing and trade – and can also be read as a sign of hope – and the slanted beam in silver which points towards the river which has bound the city together and given it direction.
