Original - Nøtterøy

The anchor in this manhole cover points directly to Nøtterøy's close relationship with the sea – an everyday trace in the street that nevertheless contains the quiet security of maritime craft and traffic. The shape is simple and clear: an anchor as a symbol of attachment, direction and belonging, as coastal places carry with them in both language and landscape. The print was taken at Tom Wilhemsens Road. Coordinates: 59.255185, 10.418525
