Numbered and signed giclée print - Tønsberg

In this black-and-white giclée print, the lines of Tønsberg's medieval seal stand out clearly: the castle and the ring wall on the mountain, the sea that opens up the space below, and the longship that lies calmly on the waves. The text on the lid gives the motif a clear voice: "This is the seal of the Tunsberg people." As an image, it is a natural fit for Norway's oldest city - a place where history is both static and moving.

 Traditionally, the seal is associated with solemn occasions, such as the letter of homage for King Håkon Magnusson the Younger at Bohus in 1344. The giclée print is signed and numbered in an edition of 100, with a diameter of approximately 36 cm.
