Numbered and signed giclée print - Trondheim
This motif from Tyholtveien near Kristiansden Fortress highlights one of Trondheim's most symbolic images in a calm, black-and-white interpretation. Where the metal usually only passes in the corner of the eye, the lines are given time to speak: a bishop in the church, a king in the castle – and between them a scale reminiscent of justice.
At the bottom are three heads that can be understood as the city council, and together the entire coat of arms becomes a concentrated portrait of the city: religious center and political weight, gathered in a round surface with weather, wear and precise details.
