Numbered and signed giclée print - Molde

The whale spouting water is more than a coat of arms; it is a small story about the herring that came, and about the hope that came with it. When the new municipality was formed on January 1, 2020, this original motif was chosen as the municipal coat of arms – a silent but clear sign that the proximity to the sea is still part of the identity. In black and white, the lines and symbolism take on a calm expression, like a memory cast in metal and time.

 The print is signed and numbered in an edition of 50, in approximately 36 cm format on 50 x 50 cm acid-free paper.

 The motif was taken at the Molde ferry pier.
