Numbered and signed giclée print - Holmestrand

This giclée print is a precise, black-and-white reproduction of a Holmestrand motif with roots in the town's older coat of arms. It was taken from Havnegaten by the guest harbor – a point where the town faces the fjord, and where the symbols gain extra weight from the proximity of water, quay and wind.

 The eagle carries the anchor and the rod of Aesculapius, and with the frigate in the heart shield, several layers of identity are gathered into one form: sea, direction, security and daily life. In the print, the lines become clear and the contrasts calm, like a quiet imprint of a busy harbor street.
